How important is Math in our daily lives ?

Most often, students think of math as a subject which is not connected into the real world. Like how important are finding the result of those numbers with the addition of those letters in an equation. Why do we have to deal with all those numbers and letters when we could not find it's application in real life situations ?

Now, the task is to know the application of Math subject in real life situation. Your thoughts ? Why do you think we should study Math and how can we use math in our daily lives ? Surprised

we need to study math because it is the one skill you need to master in your life, even if it is the only one, you will at least be able to live without being cheated, robbed or abused. hehe ^^

I think we need to study math for our mind improvement. I think it can help us to think good , fast and correct. For me , all the things that we have learned in math is not used in our lives but it can help us improve our thinking skills. Thank you that's all Shocked

We have to study Mathematics because it is needed. XD We have to study Mathematics because it can improve our critical thinking, it may help us to be physically and mentally alert. at pagmarunong ka magbilang di ka mabubudol o maloloko ng mga mangagancho o manggogoyo na mayroon sa mundong ibabaw. Depende na lang kung muka kang pera di ka talaga maloloko pagdating sa budget. That's all Thank you Very Happy

Math is really important to us even it is in outside world. why? Because wherever you are we apply math in our daily lives. for example, we have a problem, we need to Solve it by ourselves or we can get some person who helps you. And solving problem is the major problems of people, kasi di pa nga nasusubukan umaayaw na agad.

Mathematics is very important to us. We can considered a simple counting of money or anything as math. (tagalog naman nose bleed na ) cherry

Meron kseng mga cases na mahusay talaga sa math kahet d nakapagaral. Common sense lang naman siguro pag sa math ehh dba ? So importante to. Bata palang tayo marunong na tayo mag math. Very Happy

upon observing students as of todays generation they consider math as "mental abuse to humans" wherein it's just a subject meant to torture ones mind and is a pre requisite to madness, haha, but in my case, i beg to differ, math is considered as the perfect science we all know that, actually in life, math can be applied anywhere, from the way you manage your time, on how many you are going to buy and lot's more. Math on the other hand is used as a medium for construction for engineers, one good example of this is the Brooklyn bridge in the USA, this perfectly engineered bridge isn't just a "tanchameter" ( made up word ) structure, it is made through the use of properly calculating of engineers. Let us find Math in another perspective, not as a torture machine but as a medium for success. Math problems provide us patience and vigor in order to solve the problem, just like in life we have to be patient and vigorous when it comes to problems. That's all Very Happy

Math is obviously important in our daily lives, yes you may think some of the topics in math doesn't apply in real life but in my opinion you're wrong. Math is about solving a specific problem with ways and rules you can think of. Math give us the choice on what rules or choices we will use to solve that problem. It make us pay attention on every little details and every single rule or formulas there's in Math, In short it enhance our thinking skills, decision making and the ability to think of many ways on how to solve a problem. These skills acquired on studying Math will be applied in real life.

we need math in our lives. just basic calculations and logical calculations is enough to say that math can help our lives. Yes i think it's true that can be easier without math, but i think also that life would be easier if we know how to compute and calculate arithmetic problems.

The topic discussed in math is not really relevant to our daily lives but it teaches us that there's always a way to solve every problem we encountered.

Actually Mathematics is everywhere, simply when we are looking at what time it is? We use math. When we are buying some food or stuffs at store, we use math. we are riding a jeep, tricycle or any transporting vehicle we use math and many more. Math is part of our life, we didn't notice how math works and change our life.

math is important in our lives because without math life is boring. for example, sa simpleng pagtingin lang ng oras math na yun. sa pagbayad kapag bibili tayo sa mga groceries o tindahan, bata palang tayo isa ang pagbibilang sa mga itinuro satin, sa simpleng pagbabasa ng distansya o basic skill of knowing calculating, kahit tumingin lang tayo sa paligid hindi natin napapansin may halong math na yun. kaya nga naging major subject ang math kasi nagagamit natin sya sa pang araw araw, kahit sa ibang subject may math na kahalo. kaya importante ang math sa pang araw araw na buhay natin hindi nga lang natin napapansin Smile

for me, All things in this world is relevant and so is MATH .. the operations we use in solving Math problems are like strategies that apply in solving life's difficulty..MATH is everywhere it might be hard at times but you have to embrace it =) .. i thank you!! lol!

You see, without math we just cannot live or survive. We need math in our everyday lives. Just doing the basic essentials is dependant on your ability to do math. Smile

Math plays an important role in our lives. Mathematics is around us. We use it everyday. It is just presented in different forms. From the time we wake up (counting the hours or sleep we had), to cooking our meals (the idea of proportion), to traveling (fare in PUVs and distance), and performing other daily tasks.

Math is everywhere and because of that we cannot do anything about it so we have to deal with it whether we like it or not. Math has a lot of application in our society. Numbers are everywhere and we need it to in our daily lives.
